Sat dreambox problem....

Guys I got hold of a sat dreambox a few months back off someone and basically it died on me...Have reason to believe that the video chip has gone and wondered is there any way of fixing this? Or is it basically gubbed :-( .....

The green light will stay on and nothing else happens..Doesnt see the remote or nowt..Anyone any ideas??

So have you tried a complete reflash with dreamup, null modem lead and original manufacturer firmware? Did that load and its still busted, or will that image not load?

I had tried to flash a new image but nothing happen at all m8..I have sent it to the guy who I got it off to look at and he said to me that he thought the video chip had gone as he flashed an image and nothing come on either....I am getting it back in a few days time and will try out whatever anyone can suggest...Thanks m8
