sat box for packages

Hi all
I am looking for a bit of info a friend of mine wants to connect a box to the net, I have a Technomate 6900 super hooked up which is excellent for me, but my friend doesn't have much cash so can't afford a 6900 I am asking for any recommendations for a good reliable box that doesn't cost to much and is easy to use flash with patches etc it must have terrestrial tuner as well as hd
any help greatly appreciated
