Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 v Apple Ipad 2

I have a galaxy tab 10.1 and its fantastic. You wouldn't be disappointed. And it will be getting upgrade to ics

I was under the impression it wasn't because it doesn't have enough ram/rom and can't support TouchWiz, and even if they could/did it would be end 2012.

I know there was/is a port on a custom ROM but it's not official is it?

It was announced a while ago that it would be. It was an official announcement. Never heard anything about any limitations that mean it won't run on the 10.1
As for roms, I don't know. I haven't rooted this yet.

Xoom 1 turned up today from Amazon, went for the 3g version and the xoom 1 because of the better camera and cd card etc not available on the new xoom 2.


So far I have not missed my ipad 2. I managed to set it up to download NZB straight to device.... couldnt do that with the IPAD!!!.

I think I will have a read around to maybe install android ice cream sandwich. I know this means resetting back to a US Rom but need to check if this will feck my UK 3g settings up....
