hi i have a samsung tv that over the last few weeks it was getting darker & darker but i just turned up brightness now it is just unbearable cant hardly see anything is it an easy fix or will it cost mega bucks if so i will drop it down stairs and claim off insurance lol

You probably need a new lamp. Google the model number and replacement lamp. Alternatively post the model number here, someone (digidude?) may know somewhere that you'll be able to get them cheap...

turned tv on this morning nothing no sound or picture is there a way to find out if it is the lamp or something else before i order it
