15:00 Aberdeen vs Hibernian
Hibernian will be looking to keep the up the heat on the Old Firm when they travel to Aberdeen on Saturday.

Hibs are just four points off second place Celtic in the table and will be boosted by the news that Aberdeen are facing an injury crisis ahead of the game.

Mark McGhee admitted he would struggle to complete an 18-man squad after revealing Sone Aluko, Fraser Fyvie, Peter Pawlett and Maurice Ross were all set to miss out.

Mark Kerr is due to undergo a fitness test on Saturday morning, Zander Diamond remains sidelined, while Jerel Ifil is still suspended.

Graham Stack's troublesome back injury continues to be Hibernian boss John Hughes' biggest concern ahead of the trip to Pittodrie.

Goalkeeper Stack has missed the last two matches with the problem, which flared up during last month's win over Falkirk, and he has been replaced by Yves Ma-Kalambay since then.

Derek Riordan is expected to recover from the sickness that saw him sent home from training but the game comes too soon for Kevin McBride (ankle) and Kevin McCann (hamstring).

15:00 Hamilton vs Dundee Utd
Hamilton can make up some ground on Dundee United if they win their Scottish Premier League match at New Douglas Park.

The Accies have an injury doubt over Tomas Cerny ahead of the clash but he has not been ruled out as yet.

The goalkeeper was forced off during last week's win over Aberdeen after taking a heavy knock to his knee and has not trained this week but will be given the opportunity to prove his fitness.

Striker Leon Knight is available after suspension, while Derek Lyle and James Gibson (both knee) are both long-term absentees.

Dundee United welcome back defender Andy Webster for the Hamilton trip, as manager Craig Levein looks to ignore speculation linking him with the Scotland post and focus on the game.

Centre-half Webster, who was unable to face Rangers on Tuesday under the terms of his loan from Ibrox, is likely to replace Darren Dods in the starting XI.

Midfielder Morgaro Gomis is banned so Scott Robertson comes into contention but long-term absentees Lee Wilkie (knee) and Francisco Sandaza (groin) remain sidelined.

15:00 Kilmarnock vs Falkirk
Kilmarnock could have a shortage of goalkeepers for the SPL clash with Falkirk.

Mark Brown is struggling with illness and Cammy Bell (concussion) is all but ruled out while Alan Combe has yet to return from hip surgery. Lee Robinson is set to stand in.

Jamie Hamill should recover from a foot infection but fellow midfielder Iain Flannigan (ribs) will not play.

Falkirk have an unchanged squad for the trip.

Sean Lynch (hamstring), Mark Stewart (stomach), Jackie McNamara (knee), Burton O'Brien (hernia) and Tam Scobbie (pelvis) remain on the sidelines.

Alex MacDonald has returned to Burnley after a groin injury cut short his loan spell.

15:00 Rangers vs Motherwell
Rangers will seek to strengthen their hold on top spot against a Motherwell side without a win in five games.

Allan McGregor and Kevin Thomson both return from hamstring injuries for the home side at Ibrox.

Goalkeeper McGregor has missed the last two matches, while midfielder Thomson sat out Tuesday's 3-0 win at Dundee United.

McGregor's recovery gives Walter Smith another selection headache over Neil Alexander, while midfielder Pedro Mendes will be sidelined for another month.

Motherwell have a full squad, with Shaun Hutchinson and Chris Humphrey both having recovered from hamstring injuries.

Paul Slane, Marc Fitzpatrick and Darren Smith have all returned to training following operations.

But the five players may need to wait until after a closed-door game next week to challenge for a place in the team.

15:00 St Johnstone vs St Mirren
St Johnstone boss Derek McInnes has doubts over three players for Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League clash with St Mirren.

Stuart McCaffrey (groin), Danny Grainger (thigh) and Steven Anderson (virus) have failed to train so far this week.

McInnes' threadbare squad has been further hit after it was revealed striker Collin Samuel will be out for six weeks after undergoing exploratory knee surgery in London.

St Mirren have no fresh injury worries.

Gus MacPherson's men came through last week's draw with Falkirk unscathed, giving the Buddies boss the option of naming a similar side for the trip to Perth.

Andy Dorman and Allan Johnston are both still out with a hamstring tear and a groin problem respectively.

Sunday 20th December
12:30 Hearts vs Celtic
Hearts have a major doubt over striker Christian Nade after a stomach problem, Ian Black and Suso Santana stay banned.

Marius Zaliukas returns to the squad after three months out, but may not be risked, while Ismael Bouzid returns from suspension.

Celtic's Georgios Samaras and Danny Fox are injury doubts while Lee Naylor and Paddy McCourt should also miss out.

The visitors are hopeful Niall McGinn can shake off a dead leg, while Scott Brown and Shaun Maloney are both out.

Rangers extended their lead at the top of the SPL table with a 6-1 victory over Motherwell while Hibernian, Falkirk and St Johnstone also triumphed.

Rangers put in a dominant display at Ibrox with Kenny Miller's low shot from just outside the box opening the scoring.

Kris Boyd had seen two efforts cleared off the line before the break for Walter Smith's side but doubled the advantage in the 53rd minute by sliding in to convert De Marcus Beasley's cross.

Rangers pressed on and Miller claimed his second of the game by nicking Madjid Bougherra's long ball past John Ruddy before squeezing in at the corner.

Motherwell, to their credit, refused to let their heads drop and Shaun Hutchinson pulled one back by converting Jamie Murphy's corner.

Substitute Kyle Lafferty restored the three-goal advantage by tapping home from close range after some neat interplay between Kirk Broadfoot and Miller.

Beasley slotted home another in the 84th minute before Lafferty's second four minutes later completed the rout.

A brace from Anthony Stokes ensured Hibernian closed the gap on second-placed Celtic to just a point with a 2-0 win at Aberdeen.

The former Sunderland striker put John Hughes' side ahead by firing a low shot beyond Jamie Langfield and sealed his second by tapping in Colin Nish's mis-hit strike.

Goals in either half from Carl Finnigan and Ryan Flynn earned rock-bottom Falkirk their first away victory of the season - a 2-1 win at fellow strugglers Kilmarnock.

Finnigan gave the Bairns a third-minute lead with a sublime finish but Kilmarnock levelled when Danny Invincibile's parried effort crept over the goal line.

Flynn then secured maximum points for boss Eddie May with a well-directed shot past Mark Brown.

A sole strike from Chris Millar against St Mirren moved St Johnstone up to seventh in the table.

The midfielder fired expertly beyond Paul Gallacher to claim his third of the season.

Hamilton's match against Dundee United was postponed just 15 minutes before kick-off after a freak snowstorm.

There appeared no threat to the fixture until around 2.30pm when snow began to fall so heavily it completely obscured the pitch markings.

Hearts 2 - 1 Celtic

Hearts came from behind to beat Celtic and leave the Glasgow side trailing Scottish Premier League leaders Rangers by four points.

Celtic had taken the lead when Georgios Samaras poked the ball home after 21 minutes, but Michael Stewart levelled from the penalty spot 12 minutes later.

Gary Caldwell was sent off for pulling down Jamie Mole as a result.

Celtic's 10 men were the better side after the break, but Ismael Bouzid headed the winner after 76 minutes.

It ended Celtic's five-game unbeaten run, which had led manager Tony Mowbray to return to his first-choice line-up, despite his second string having produced a stirring three-goal comeback to draw away to Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on Thursday.

BBC Sport - Highlights - Kilmarnock v Falkirk
Kilmarnock 1-2 Falkirk.

Falkirk took the lead after only 3mins with a good cutback and neat finish for the opener but, it didn't last long as Killie hit back about 5mins later with a shot from point blank range.

2nd half and it wasn't long before the would-be winner (03.09 on video) from the corner that just curled straight in untouched.

A well deserved victory for the Bairns away to Kilmarnock. :)
