Running 2 Cams

Best way round this I found is obviously leave mgcamd as ur main default cam and then add all the channels you want to use with other cams but whilst ur adding them set them individually to mgcamd too. Once your list is complete save and exit.......

You can just add the whole provider, instead of channels. Green button I think.

Goto a channel eg. any on Polsat then go into the Auto Cam Settings and add Prov (green) then change it to Scam as New Cam and leave Default as MGCamd.

Did you get DigiTV 1W to AU?

Jimmy - Is this all right in my Var/Scam folder ie, the sizes ect. and my Var/Keys folder with Nagra and Nagra2, or do I put them in the Nagra Rom folder?

yes m8 u can but what i didnt explain well was -as ur adding to this list , changing the cam in the list against the provider/channel at that time causes my box to reboot itself....... almost as if i asked it to do too much in 1 go...

Have you tried pulling the power on it for about 20-30 seconds to empty the flash memory?

Perhaps it is struggling to pass the info across due to lack of space. I used to get this on my DragonCam if I had that and a Softcam running together and the keys conflicted it didn't know which one to use so just rebooted itself.

If I just use Nagra I dont get anything, but Nagra2 I do, on Polsat and Premiere.

Can you have a look at them please?

Do you have to change a config or anything else, perhaps removing the original 2111 id in the Nagra2 file?

I have MGcamd 1.28 running this gets tps/multivision (france 5 to clear) and the share, and Scam is getting everything else, been a good day i never broke a thing lol

Been trying for 1deg west this eve...but it don;t look like im goona get a signal.... will try tomorrow with an lnb i know defo works.....


@ dd if i hovver over a couple of cm (in width) where i think the signal is , what is the delay time between moving the lnb and seeing something on the stb signal strength page ?

Could only find 3.29a but it worked m8!

Deleted 3.28 and all working fine on the new one.

No 1w for me

Had a good " potch" trying to get 1w and nowt Im afraid.......cant even get a flicker on the signal strength bar......but it was worth a go......


@ Jimmy P - thanks for the roms and nagra file - polsat was something i never bothered with unless there was a game on and only they had it......

discovered the HBO channels with English audio too.......
