Rs232 cable - daft question maybe

Got an RS232 cable with a Eurovox I ordered on Ebay, and used it no problem to flash the box

Just wondered if the cable is therefore a null modem cable? I was told that there is a difference between a null modem cable and a normal RS232 in the way it is wired. Does it need to a null modem cable to connect a PC to a Eurovox?

Just want to confirm I have a null modem cable
