I really loved this guy, it really shocked me to see he'd died. Lots of great memories as a child having my mind blown watching the young ones.

The young ones was such a breath of fresh air in the thatcher years. realy liked rik made me laugh so much still watch drop dead fred and stil lol @ it R.I.P you will be missed.

Papers are saying it may have been a fit due to his epilepsy from the quad bike accident.

He introduced me to a new type of funny as a kid, The Young Ones blew my mind, anarchic, rude, loved it. Gave me permission to be as daft as I wanted and I never looked back. From Bottom, Black Adder, Man Down - you just never knew what he would do. Comic timing, clever comedy and stupid face gurning too - defo comedy genius for a generation.
