Hi all,

Nephew has an xbox 360 that was originally a liteon which had a samsung ms28 as the spoofed drive. I have the key etc, just wondering what to get as a replacement drive as hes managed to rip out the tray along with a few cogs?

Shall i just replace it with another samsung or shall i get a cheap benq that ive seen on ebay for around £14? Samsungs around £20 on ebay

also anyone recommend where i can get a replacement other than ebay at a decent price?

thanx in advance

I'd personally got with a benq drive m8. Sammys aren't bad but the benq seems more reliable to me. There is plenty of sites on the net selling them. I usually paid about 25quid for them. Try amazon .always found a few on there

I agree, the benqs are by far the best to flash and for reading media of all types. I had an ms28 and ms25 that would not read certain types of media but the benq reads everything even the cheap dvd-dl.

I have a BenQ drive from a knackered 360 if anyone wants it for a tenner plus p&p?

thanx everyone - ordered a benq from a uk ebay vendor for £18.99 inc del.
