Removing duplicate news and weather channels

If you were unlucky enough to run an update from an ntsc game and ended up with duplicate news and weather channels there is now a way to get rid of the dupe channels, in fact there is 2 ways!

You can either run the elf file from an sd card with the twilight hack (if you know how!) or you can burn the iso version to a dvd and just pop it in your wii and run it.

NOTE: this tool is only for use on PAL wii's, don't blame me if you brick an NTSC wii using these files

this is excellent news m8, i know the duplicate channels dont really do no harm, but ill be using this on my console, my boys, and quite a few of my friends roud:

it worked

the ISO version shows as a gamegube disc, then when you hit start a black screen comes up, a bit of stuff about found US channels and removing them OK

then it counts from 10 to zero, restarts and job done

just burned iso to DVDR 4x

loaded up, found gamecube disc, says something about 200 titles, then says found 2 duplicate channels.

then does the 10 second countdown on screen.

wii reboots and presto, no dupe channels.

Not yet, but i bet it won't be too long before its adapted for ntsc.

how do you burn the iso to disc as i keep getting unsupported file with imgburn

i burn with nero, never let me down with a wii title.

Nero kept spitting the disc out for me (unsupported file format for disc) would only burn to cd

so I had to burn with alcohol120%
