YO! Found the micro switch! It got the pump going but came up with f1. a step nearer.might have to wait till monday for someone to fix it .hanx for help.This happens every time it's been off for a while.It has been in for a year and they've changed the pump,gas valve and a new circuit board.I'm glad I don't have to pay for it!catch ya later.

good morning vietnam! Woke up,got out of bed,drew a comb across my head.Thought i'd give it 1 more shot.checked manual for f1.I found a mini plug dislodged from the gas valve! I must have loosened it while i was f***ing about .Put it back .ALL WORKING o.k!!!!!!thanx again for the preset bit,i know what to do next time.

overheat stat
Hiya only just found this thread So a bit late but what the hell.
What happpened to your boiler is basically the boiler overheated and the overheat stat locked out because of a lack of water.
So looks like you found the overheat stat reset button and voilla.
I know this is probablly no good after the fact but Knowledge is Power or so i heard somewhere :lsabre:
