Hello all,
I am trying cccam with SSSP on my TM 5000 USB series. I am using HDVB1.15.
I am stuck at the moment. here are more details:

I am using Win 7 with USB to Serial. I confirm my USB to Serial works as I can upload firmware/keys to my TM.

I have had problems launching HDVB as some ocx files were missing. I have sorted this out. However, HDVB sometimes launches with this error: type mismatch origen HDVB.ini . what is 'origen'? lol

Within option in TM menu, I have set share mode as SSSP. is this right? alternatives are rs232 slave or rs232 master.

Coming back to HDVB when there is no 'origen' error:
it launches and I set my com port and click open port:
the monitor window shows:
remote control off
les canales off.
that's it.
My monitor tab does not look like the below:
http://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/22587...ccam-gbox.html

in the cccam tab, I can see HDVB connecting to the server (c line). I have edited the cfg file. I have typed in activo=1 and include '1' at the end of my c line.

what is that I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

thanks for replying.
any model cfg file?
but the problem seems connection to my TM, is it not?

i will have a go again
i have vista and 7 on my laptop :(
no xp

cheers.

hi wolfje,
i have sorted the origen type mismatch error.
it seems that satlover's C line is causing this. any idea why?
i dont have any error any more.
but my monitor window is not looking good, that's all i have:
[10/05/2011-21:02:15] - Abriendo Puerto:
[10/05/2011-21:02:15] - Protocolo: SSSP
[10/05/2011-21:02:15] - Lista de canales OFF
[10/05/2011-21:02:15] - Control Remote OFF

any idea?

Sometimes you need to change the communication settings of your com port in the device manager of windowz(19200, 115200, ...) ALso in the postings of the SSSP & HDVB thread there is information about how to get HDVB working when running into trouble.

SOmetimes you need to switch channels a bit in order to let kick in the decoding.

Also, there is an indication in the window of the decoding algo Used.
Sometimes you need to tap the correct Decoding (CAID/provid)

In the technomate receiver when you go into the patched TM Menu "system menu" while on a channel which you want to watch you select "CAS" and push the Blue button on yr remote it will then give some decoding options which come with the channel of your choice which you can alter.

Beware in the patched TM menu there is also an option where you can put the TM receiver into SSSP mode. Should check that out as well...

Yeah i know, a lot of confusing info .... SSSP is not very user friendly and to be honest is a bit outdated nowadays but still a must in order to learn !

hello wolftje,
success!!! well half i guess
my tm is communicating fine!
great. thanks
but I cannot clear anything. the free c line is probably the cause.
can anybody help me? tips?

Sometimes the Latest Version of Cccam Server is not compatible with HDVB...
Have you tried some other channels (like some Porn on Hotird 13E, mostly works)
or Sky 1 and Sky 2 mostly open very easy on Astra 2 28E ...)

hi again,
working now! although my free c line is not great. keep breaking up :(
thanks a million for helping.
i had to change delay tx from 1000 to 400 to solve the problem
