Question about RAM

Hi guys,

Just want to clear something....

Is PC3200 better than PC2300?

Like i got DDR 512MB PC2300 in my computer but want to change it with DDR 512MB PC3200.

Im not expecting my computer to run alot faster but just want to know witch is the better one?

In theory, yes. In practice, it'll depend what you are doing as to whether you'll notice any difference.

Most likely you will not notice any difference in day to day usage unless you have memory intensive applications.

Also not all chipsets recognise the faster speeds so it may end up running at the slower speed anyway.
