hi guys i have an acer pc with an amd phenom 9560 quad core processor and i'm just wondering whats the new equivalent as in for example icore processors and amd

You're not going to get an equivalent per se when comparing a CPU that's 5 years old to the current gen.

Whilst the AMD A4 3300 benches about the same as the AMD Phenom X4 9650, the Intel i3 2220 benches much better: Intel Core i3 3220 vs AMD Phenom X4 9650
