hi gyus...how do i password protect my sandisk extreme 1tb portable ssd drive? i dont want anyone plugging it into a pc and seeing my files ?

I used to use trucrypt on a folder that was store on dropbox, TrueCrypt is not safe, VeraCrypt is an alternative and there is a portable version available on portable apps.

I would create an encrypted folder on the drive and install the portable version of the app, so you can access it.

Personally I wouldn't use bitlocker. You can crack the protection if you have access to the drive (Physical). Veracrypt is a much better option, it's also open source.

Also depends how worried you are about people getting hold of your dick pics tbf.
