programme for testing broadband speeds

has any person got a link for me to be able to test the speeds on my aol broadband as im doing a download at the moment and its showing 6.8kbs im sure thats slow regards geoff

it is m8 but even with dsl or cable it will only download as fast as the place/person will allow
also if they have many downloading that will also cut the speed

I get 463 Kbps (57.9 KB/sec)

Occasionally reach that speed on a torrent download but usually a lot less.

see, the upload speeds are rubbish!

downloading is good though, on a good server i can get higher than 106 easy, get upto 115-118kb/s on a good irc bot but big website servers push it up to 120+
