I have been struggling with PPanel as well, though its it ultimately works, i just have to try and try and try. I think the answer lies with DNS resolution.
Here is an example , I just tried the nslookup from my laptop and see it took 5 tries before i got the answer. This is exactly whats happening on TM800 as well.

thing that I dont understand is nothing has changed my end
not touched the router
talktalk aint changed
so I really cant see where the problem is my end ?
Digi has been moving servers etc so I blame him lmao
joking aside even if it was digi server all you guys are still connecting

Dont want to muddy the water further but my ISP is talktalk, nslookup comes back ok first time

and its still working
well Im trying to download the radio screen and its saying cant resolve host ?
downloaded DW skin pack and that worked
and it wont download Rats Updater Plugin
but most other stuff works now

Rat, that looks like a DNS problem to me, it looks like your tiscali server is using a cached server and not checking everytime.

But from seeing from when you posted this thread all DNS replication should of occurred by now

the final switch was flipped on the technomate software site on tuesday (i think it was)
i made an index file to redirect the original site to the new temp address and placed that on the old host, along with all the files, but it looks like tiscali and vodafone are still waiting to update something, as if i go to the site on my phone, it still visits the old IP and gets redirected to the new one

That explains it then digi, Rat check what DNS you are using and change it to the another ones.
What you can do is, go to TCP/IP properties on your PC and select use these DNS servers and add the other ones.
If that works I would put them in the box also
