I have just brought a more or less fully working iPhone 3G off eBay for £100 but it has a faulty power switch, the volume down button doesn't work and the silent switch doesn't work. I have priced up the part which I think I need which is the complete headphone jack ribbon which has all of the above switches on or maybe it's just come lose somehow. Anyhoo, has anyone replaced the above and is it easy enough to do?
