Im having problems loading the PIC codes to my Gold Card it lets me program the EE codes but when I come to load the PIC code it says "FILE NOT FOUND" I have re-installed the Programming Software but still the same. The programmer( Millennium 2001) has been working fine to-date. Any Ideas...?

Not sure what your experience level is so forgive me if I am boring you with my reply.
First of all, what Hex are you trying to load i.e. kevlar, keylog, omega? The loader & pic hex need to be loaded button released (out) and the eeprom hex loaded with the button in.
Secondly, where did you get the files from. I am using latest Omega 1.90 successfully. I obtained this from digiworld download section. I used the pic hex 190a, this gives me access to channels 56, 57, 58 etc. (know what I mean)
It could be that your Goldie is knackered or worse still your programmer has a fault
Good luck m8
--------------------------------------------------
oh my love, my Darling I hunger for your touch....
--------------------------------------------------

Thanks for trying to help me Gazza and the level of expererience I have you can write on the back of a strawberry trip (lol) Ive been using Kevlar codes up till now and all I do is load the EE.hex 1st then load the PIC.hex I havent a clue about loaded button in or out (lol) the programmer just does it but can I use other PIC's instead of Kevlar ? and whats the difference ??

Thanks again m8

Don't know your programmer m8. Must be somebody out there with the same programmer who can help Paulmck. Nobody should ever be short of help on this forum.
In the meantime try Keylog6.2i or Omega 1.90a. These are holding up fine for me at the moment.
Good Luck,

I've got exactly the same problem! I'm using an Elvis and I can load the eeprom file but when i load the pic file I have an error. I have more than one card so it's not the cards. Any ideas? Help.

try this m8s
Millennium 2001

1) Connect the 9 way D-Type connector of programmer to the COM port
of your PC with the 9-Way to 9-Way cable.
(This cable is a straight pin-1 to pin-1 cable not crossed)

2) Connect the PSU to the DC socket (left of 9-Way) on the programmer
ensure the PSU voltage selector is set to 12 Volts.

3) Insert Smart card into the card slot at the front of the Programmer.

4) To program the Smart card the EEPROM of the card must be
programmed first.

5) Run the Program, select COM Port and load both EEPROM and PIC
Hex Files (File, load hex files)

6) Select EEPROM, and then select Program Tab to program EEPROM.

7) Select PIC Tab; select ERASE Tab, Select Program Tab.

8) That's it; your Goldwafer card or PCB card is programmed

Sorry, don't really understand all that. Let me explain what happens......once the card is in the Elvis and I right-click on the PIC16F84(D7C3) line and select open, I can place any of my files o.k. but when i do the same on the 24C16 line, as soon as I select a file, I get an error message with a red cross on the left hand-side saying something like; 'exception in file (name of file and location), line=128, index=0, Msg=Invalid address 4000h, data=08400000000F000F000F000F00F007C.'

This happens even if I try and program old Hex's that I've previously used o.k.

Thanks for trying but any further help would be much appreciated.

jujuhound the above post does not apply to the elvis try this

insert gold card into Elvis
left mouse click Autodetect
click OK
let it run through Autodetect
should show project in window
click + sign next2 PIC 16F84
right mouse click PIC16784
click open
goto Kev Pic Hex
open
right mouse click 24C16
open Kev EEPROM open again
left mouse click 1Pic + EEPROM
goto top left mouse click programme
when finished card ready.
just replace kevpic.hex with any ***pic.hex
also replace keveeprom.hex with any ***eeprom.hex

Ah,

Think the problem was we weren't using Kevlar codes. So, tell me, if I'm using an elvis and gold card, I need to use kevlar, any other codes work? I was trying to use the omegas, i guess that was the problem.

what's the latest kev, is it 167?

yes m8 latest kev is 167 but with elvis & gold u can use most hex's omega threat keyloge special k
etc etc as long as u put the pic hex and the eeprom hex's in the right place they should all work
