It comes to us all at some point, but that doesn't make it any easier to deal with.
It seems that you've lost more than your Dad, you've also lost a good friend.

I'm saying lost, but as long as you keep his memory alive by sparing a few minutes each day to think about him, he won't really be lost.

No doubt there's a wealth of memories that you can draw from.
Times he pissed you off, times you argued, times you had a damned good laugh, times you think back on and smile, each memory is to be treasured, no matter the content.
