Overclocking on San Fran

What do you think? The only risks seems to be battery drain and lock ups if you overclock it too much. Trying to find more info out about it at the mo.

For Jellyfish on the san fran, it seems you load up the custom patch kernal thing on the Jellyfish ROM download page at Madaco, install with Clockwork. But that alone doean't overclock it. You then download an app which controlls the overclocking. There are a few on the market but the one people mention most is called SetCPU.

I found this post here were one of the main men at Modaco details the settings he uses on his San Fran. He has it so that whn it goes into standby, it is set to underclock, then when wakes, it over clocks...

I'm just worried about damaging my phone personally, overheating it or some chip exploding...

As for the Hardware accelleration patch, not found too much out about that yet, but I think it overclocks the GPU...

overclocked mine a few days ago.... it s faster but not mind blowing like you would think and it does chew battery life so i think after testing im going back stock as the battery is poor as standard anyway
