since ive moved to my new home and had my broadband connected (which ive had for about 3 years now) and the house phone rings if i answer it then it cuts my internet connection off but if i dont answer it then its ok

any ideas

Have you installed any extension jacks? If so make sure thay are only 2 wire connections. Let us know if you still have the problem.

no extension jacks straight into main phone box
