Optical Splitter

I am after and automatic optical splitter for my new freesat box that is coming and my PS3.

I amp only has 1 optical input, and I dont want to have to switch cables over all the time.

It's an optical selector you need. Optical splitters only work in the other direction.

might work if one perip is turned off. Might be worth a try for the price

TOSLink Splitter

This adapter allows you take one TOSLink inputs into 2 TOSLink outputs.

Allows you to connect one device (xbox/dvd player) to two amplifiers.

Does not allow 2 device into one amp as digital signal gets corrupted, although if one device is turned off, should be ok in most circumstances.
