Openbox X5 problem

Hi all, just bought one of these to replace an old Technomate that struggles to lock. It came with only satellite info for Astra 28.2, I did a system reset but found it still only had Astra in the sat list. I've managed to program in the satellites from 42E to 1W now and done a blind search on each one to get my channel lists, but I've found that it seems to be randomly missing some transponders especially in the 12000+ transponder area. I've tried loading the frequencies manually and doing a manual search but it still does not see the frequency. Any help gratefully received. Other than this it seems to be a good little cheap box that is very stable.

Check lnb setting is Universal (9750-10600)

Also if using a quad lnb, try another port.
Dect phones nearby can also effect some tp's, if one nearby try moving or temporarily turning off.

Thanks for the reply, I'm using a Technomate TM 1 0.1db single universal LNB. I've just downloaded Ferrets 2014_03_01 firmware and an initial search on 28.2E looks like it's cured the problem.
