Openbox S9 froze

there is no jtag solution for these boxes just persevere with turning box off clicking connect and turning box on eventually it will connect and flash the image

hook a terminal program to the rs232 port,like xdown and you should see something in the xdown screen when you power up the receiver.Like app init ok.This shows the rs232 port is ok and can accept firmware.

Hi all,
i used upgrade tool 2.0.0c 2008-01-25 forst time with success, but after loaded firmware and reboot, now don't sync anymore.
if try with other tools say me "Set stb memory error"

sounds like you are loading the wrong firmware.
Use the 2.0.0c loader and try again.
Other tools were designed for good working receivers.

s10 on s9 the menus will be greyed out,unless the firmware states it is for s9/s10/s11/s12.

I tried different flash tools and always says "stb memory error".
