Anyway a friend of mine own's a lockup/garage, he wants to start decoding car radio's. He asked me what I know, which is nothing. Do you know anything about it ? Even a good non-ripoff website. Found one [DLMURL]http://www.rampantapathy.co.uk/carradio.html,[/DLMURL] he's looking £250 and it only does some, problem is I do'nt know if this is good or not.

What do you think...

this is for a really nice guy but the truth is i dont know any thing about car radios but i would love to help him

Lol, it's about £6000 and I would be suspicious of any website with such amateurish pictures that does not know how to spell simple words. :)

I think there is a way of doing this by reading or reprogramming an EEPROM, something like reprogramming it with the hex off a known one EG. Code: 0000.

go to this page and click on ford radio at the bottom and put serial number in it will give u the code for old 3 digit ford radios
