oh dear - dm500s stuck on boot screen

I had a slight problem this morning.

My 500s was stuck on the GP boot screen and wouldn't change.

I tried switching it off and unplugging it and still stuck.

I tried switching it off for an hour or so and still nothing.

I have just reflashed it with 4.0 and thank god it worked.

The only downside is that I didn't back up the channels.

So now I have to spend all afternoon scanning them in again.

Aren't dreamboxes just great!!

Use DreamboxEdit to reload them to the box.

Just finished scanning in the sats and have now backed them up.

I will probably spend the next few days changing audio pids.

A question though, do any of you switch of the reciever at the plug at night?
I hate leaving things on and was wondering if this may have caused the crash.
I just can't see the point of leaving it plugged in when you are not using it!
