o.e 1.6 or o.e 2.0

Can someone please explaain as I am confused. I though sim 2.1 was o.e 1.6 only and those are the images required for the boxes. o.e 2.0 would not work on sim 2.1, is this correct?

In the donload section DM800se sim 2.1, there a load of images with o.e 2.0 tags????

OE2.0 images have been patched for sim2 boxes for a while lots of them posted in the download section

Just flash the 84d ssl then the OE2.0 sim2 image of your choice.

I managed to screw a dm800se box (now I know it must have been the bootloader)

I have since managed to install the image "correctly" with 84d bootloader

on a different point, for a box with A8p, is the bootlaoder still required?

A8P uses original images and orignal bootloaders, so yeah it still needs the bootloader.

Yeah you use the ssl/bootloader for an original 800se
