NTLDR Missing

I have a second PC in my garage that I use occasionally... I recently installed windows 7 candidate release but didnt like it so reverted back to XP...
After the initial set up of wiping the old installation and formatting when the PC rebooted for the first time it had a message stating NTLDR missing and could no longer boot...

anyone have any idea ?

i think you can repair it with the xp at least thats what im trying to do this second lol xp as dissaperaed off my multi boot menu

boot off your XP disk, and pick the option to repair my computer,

then when you can, type "chkdsk /r"
