Sources have indicated that ntl:home is planning to launch an ADSL service targeted at people living outside its cable franchise areas.

A previously reliable source says that the 512kbps service will be priced at £29.99, including £15 of call charges, and is set to launch on July 1, 2004.

More on this as it becomes available.

ntl ADSL to cost £27.99

ntl's new off-net ADSL service, will launch on July 1, will be priced at £27.99.

The service will become part of ntl's "Freedom" portfolio of products that are offered to households located outside of the cable operator's franchise areas. Marketing documents indicate that the £27.99 service will not include any free calls, unlike the Freedom Classic offering. All voice usage will be charged under the 3-2-1 pricing scheme, with a 5p connection charge and per-minute billing.
