Hi All.

I have brought a ready hacked 250 and I'm trying to get it to work.
I am using Configurator v1.21
I have used the following settings -
Tried several mac addresses from an adjacent UBR
I live in an ex C&W area
The docsis setting was used from my subbed modem - 586750000
Tuner type 19
Annex Mode 1 (Setting 'a' automatically changed back to '1' when written to modem)
Admin Status 3
Config File - cmreg-ntlhm250-bund03.cm (also used cmreg-ntlhm120-bund03.cm)
TFTP - sniffed my subbed for that - 62.255.64.14
Force Config & Telnet both checked.
Max DL 4

When I try to connect, modem lights are -
Power = ON
USB = OFF
enet = ON
Send = OFF
Recv = OFF
Sync = OFF
Ready = very intermittent. Will not hold.

I try to access the net and get the Virgin registration screen.

Any help appreciated.

I noticed your Max DL is 4 to protect it m8 read the protection for 250 in the sticky's it's best to set that to 0 so it cant take any new updates. it sounds like the modem has Infinite FW install from the look of the lights so the Ready light being intermittent is normal m8.

as for the VM registration screen coming up on you sounds like the mac's are dead try the MAC Sniffer (Digitalworldz Edition) to scan for good working mac's also you could try the Dns Fix if you know the mac is a good working one. ;)

Thanks for replying.

I have set DL to 0. And added the dns fix. Thanks.
Still gettting either the virgin page or 'This page cannot be displayed'

looks like I will have to try all the macs.
