Hi, I have an SB4200e. I put on a Fiberware firmware on it.. Changed to a random generated MAC. Used the following code:

http://192.168.100.1/04-cmreg-ntlhm120-bund03.cm

Everyhting is working and getting 10mb...

Is this the right way to do it? would CC sus my modem as i dont have genuine MAC? is there other way of doing this?

Thanks

Tha MAC is the most important part mate, it MUST be a valid mac, if you are getting a connection then the mac must be valid and registered with your provider.

If everything is working, den you have done it right, and no they cant catch you unless they knew who owned the mac etc etc as long as u didnt plug the same pc with the subbed and den the flashed den you are pretty safe!

Enjoy it.

I am not sure if i put a valid MAC or if the MAC is even working or in existance...

I input the MAC what i had (several years ago) booted the modem and could not get a connection..

so i read a tutorial where it says it doent matter what MAC you have as long as you force this code it will work. so i put:

http://192.168.100.1/04-cmreg-ntlhm120-bund03.cm

and it picked up a live connection...
