nokia dbox2

I have a nokia dbox2 and just flashed the latest sportster image then did a slow scan and got 200 channels but when i try to watch some of them i just have the sound breaking up and no picture.Can someone tell me why this is happening please???

try taking out the modem from inside the box t see if that helps a bit. also try to flash gavs latest image as its a good un

will the dbox communicate with n*l because i've not got my n*l box connected?

Try checking your signal strength im told the dbox needs a higher signal than normall cable boxes

dbox doesn't need to communicate with nts and cant as it hasn't got talkback. but that will have nothing to do with your problems as dbox just reads the line feed. good point by desertdog as you may have a weak tuner so it could be worthwile investing in a signal booster

yes argos do sell them and b&q etc.. u can try from argos and if it dont cure it u have the option to take it back under 14 day scheme in the meantime check all your connections and wiring also do a signal strength check.....post results for us to check out.
