got a new sky hd remote but its not working at all?the red led flashes when you push the buttons but its not controlling the sky hd box?its a rev.9F remote,any idea how to get this working?

Alternatively, theres a list of codes on the interactive (at least there always used to be)

Just take the batteries out for ten mins then replace with new, give it a good smack on your hand.

To check your remote is outputting infra red get a digi camera or camera phone and get the view screen up. When you press the remote you should see the light output on your camera screen.
Thats how we check ir transmitters at work.
You can also point it a webcam to check output

it could even be the box itself, the ir reciever may have given up.

the orginal remote is working grand just wanted to use this remote for the magic eye but no such luck,the magic eye is working grand with the orginal remote
does the new remote work just with the box???
are u sure that the new remote is a HD remote
is it an original remote and not a copy

yes m8 its a brand new HD remote rev 9F,i got it from a Sky Installer, and no doesnt work on the box at all
