BTW: why are we trying to figure out what satellite it is pointed to? lol

if its an mk2 then that means the legacy adaptor should fit right?

Yep...Legacy adapters will fit mk2/3 dishes

Not necessarily no. Have a read of the article below (it explains noise figures more eloquently than i could)....

i'll order an LNB then,
got a bit of rust on the edges of my dish,
will give it some WD40 and a scrub with a wire brush next time i'm up.
