New cards out

my m8 brought a card around last night<br />the chip was wierd (shape of snoopys head)<br />is this version 7 ??????<br />mkf4.3 modified it ok via backdoor key but I noticed all the channel bits were in different locations <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

check the card version in mkf settings, you should really do this, before altering any card, best safe than sorry, some say it looks like a fish yours is snoopy,s head, but my guess it is a version 6, well i hope so, we dont want the v8 yet <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

hi there,<br />wonder if the serial number would be a clue like the other issues...to its version number...a good point of comparison without reading the card, and of course the mkfind looksie at card version.

Have seen these fishy card before, the 1 I saw was a version 4 card.

yes hawkeye, this used to be some indication but i have heard of a version 6 card saying v4 on the back, sly sods arent they <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
