Whilst you're at it, maybe you can tell them we're alright and are not in need of Nagra 3. They really don't need to waste their money on the reconfiguration and sending out replacement cards. Just trying to save them from spending additional cash. Everyone I've spoken too seem to be going to Sly anyway! :p

roll out should be completed within first quarter of next yr

was confirmed last week on fone that birmingham should be done in feb / march

already got self help pages set up on virgin selfcare on new cards

100% confident that cable linux receiver's will be worth FA by easter

So are you saying that card share will never be possible on Virgin ? I would have said the linux boxes with ethernet port would have been the only ones worth anything - unlike starview, eurovox etc...

how many of DW users are even remotely competent in using a linux receiver

many member need help just to be able to ftp into the boxes

so yes a lot will be useless

and I cannot see this site touching card sharing concerning virgin media after the amount of trouble it has caused in previous years

wait and see

i dont think it will be that quick there is all so many peeps talking about it for years and years later we are still waiting

vm are in debt and if and when n3 comes out then they will lose 10s 0f thousands of £40 per month customers

they will be all going to sky with free internet

sky is much much better and they know it the cash they will lose will be like slashing there own wrists and the end for cable in the uk will be in bankruptcy

happy christmas one and all

well i am going gav :)

and i pay £45 a month for my Virgin media services

i just get the extra TV channels :p

disconnection date is early january

got half price HD sky with free install and free box

and once that is installed i am going to get the 6 months free 20mb with sky also lol

Virgin media are finished imo

broadband deal is advertised on sky website

half price off sky hd is in bargain section on this forum

Well I'll be sticking with VM. No danger am I giving up my 50Meg BB.

I'll keep their TV cos the M pack is free anyway but I haven't watched TV for more than a year now.

Better things to do than watch hundreds of channels of mostly mindless drivel.
