If your using 0.2.3 without TV Server you also need a patched TVCapture.dll
Have attached it to this post. (You need a plain 0.2.3 without any SVN's for this)

If your using Vista and the TV server you won't get the Icon to show.

Not possible, MCE can not use MDAPI extentions.

As I said, MCE and SoftCam is not possible.

Stick with Media Portal.

you can possibly use DVBSBridge with progDVB or MyTheatre acting as the tuning software and dvbsbridge acts as a fake DVB-T device, it works well but still needs a bit of improvement especially on the setup side
