Manchester United thread

Ryan Giggs is said to have ruled himself out of succeeding David Moyes as permanent Manchester United Manager because he wants to spend more time with his Brothers Family. Some say Giggs is an odd choice as caretaker boss because he has no track record in management. Bull shite he managed to blag his Sister in Law for years without getting caught. Giggs claimed the secret to his vitality as a 40 year old was regularly doing yoga, although Yoga was last night not available for comment, neither was her Sister. :)

The Glazers are in town, for discussions of who is to be the next manager according to press reports.
What if there was a grain of truth in the "Class of '92 Takeover Bid" and the Glazers are here to discuss that ?
After all what do the Glazers know about Football Managers that would require them to be here discussing the matter ? Yes, the situation could affect the Brand's Business Plan, but could they honestly have any relevant input to selecting a new manager ?
Yes, I know the "Class of '92" bought Salford City FC and that put an end to the original rumour, but could that have been a smoke screen to cover up the story until the Glazers could confirm the validity of a bid from the boys ?
Just a thought and something to throw into the mixer !!

I wonder why their private Jet stopped in Naples on the way over?

Quote from Giggs

""This is something I am going to enjoy for, what, two and a half weeks and bring back some smiles to faces of the fans."

Guess the Wags are Fans as well.......................

So the famous Man United have suddenly gained form?? surprise, surprise what a bunch of rebellious barstewards they all are. ;)

They were still a bit cautious first half miggy, penalty aside it was quite a slow performance. After the Giggsy half time hairdryer we came out with a faster tempo and had midfielders running in front and looked like a United side again, will probably take a few games to throw off the shackles but the negativity surrounding the club has lifted.

Fair comment Mr gasman but if it proves to be a success with Mr Giggs why change anything? if it's not broke don't fix it?. A new Manager could throw you back to the start again.

Let's hope they think so too, this is Jose they're dealing with.
