raven/blackbird emulation m8, {i could dump and write the flash in less than 45 minutes, never mind the nvram}

iv tryed 5 times now everytime i try and upload from the box it takes 5mins and is 11kb in size? so i tryed the macro posted left it over night but when i went it mt em this morning all the settings where still the same? any ideas?
my pinouts are
VCC – PIN 2 GND – PIN 6
TDI – PIN 3 TCK – PIN 7
TMS – PIN 5 TDO – PIN 9

Are you using 0x21100000 as your start address and 0x2111FFFF as your end address?

yes mate dont understand wats wrong my connection and jtag must be ok or id get comms error?
There has to be loads missing from that dump. Not sure if it will work but try putting it through binmaker and look at the byte addresses on the left. Surely they can't all be there.

Once you've uploaded the dump just open it up in word/note pad and check the last byte (if pace) is 0x2111FFFF.
If it isn't then it hasnt dumped correctly and you should try again, happened to me a couple of times but done it in the end.
No idea what was causing it though

yeah i noticed in ocd when uploadin the macro made from the dump most where all 00 but makes no sense it will upload to the second red block in the flash program then shoot to upload complete? iv followed everything in tut, do i just boot box up or go to em than upload?

You dont need to go into the em, just boot the box as you would if you were jtagging it with no feed on.
The upload bar for me does the same and takes less then 5 minutes to upload.
You've just got to make sure the last byte is 0x2111FFFF to know for deffo that it's worked correctly

im getin the same problem as gopher2005 except my s19 file is always 88kb. could it be the that we hav to use a diferent flash (instead of AMIC A2002B/A29021B) or a different CPU (instead of ARM940T) ??
try "intel/28f640j3 for the flash m8, {change the width from 16 to 8 bits}---"stick with the arm940t"--------use the same start/end addresses
if you get the same problem as with the amic flash, {then it has to be your jtag----"assumeing you followed all the instructions"}

not back home yet il post when i am but the line i posted from that dump was 318kb in size il just post the file as .txt so you can look at the whole file cheers.

well when i convert to macro the use ocd it uploads fine then when i try box its not working?
