lpt cant detect controller

hi what i need to know is possible to blow somthing either pc end or xbox end
as i was dumping nand yesterday but now everything i try it wont detect flash controller

update on my headache of a xbox 360 i have an broken 3rrod 360 that cant be fixed so i wired that up to flash the nand to see if their was something wrong with my set up and it dumped first time of trying so its not my pc or my lpt lead.

i thought might of broken the undetectable 360 so put it back togehter and it boots up fine and plays games , just cant work out why one minute nandpro was dumping it fine then next time and there after it wont detect.......
