Hi guys . been looking through the Sat section and fancy getting a wee set up to play about with mainly just to watch SPL games (well Celtic games really) i have a db500c so just looking for Saturday 3pm kos . Getting married soon so have no money really :proud: hehe moved into new house and there is s^y dish would i be able to buy a db500s and pick up games with that ? what else would i need to buy ?

thanks for the help

A sky dish is too small really. If you have a zone2 60cm you may be able to get some channels but it will be limited, you may just about get hotbird but you'd have to try.
Currently spl will be found on hotbird 13e degrees satellite, and on thor 1w degree satellite. So really recommended would be a 1 meter dish, plus a motor so that you can get the most choice.
With the price of a receiver as well you should expect to spend around £200.

thanks for the reply mate . think i will need to wait and save and get one after the big day . are they hard to install ? would i be able to use the sky cables that run from dish to my living room? what is best receiver to get ?
