LNB Port?

Morning all,

I have a 4 port lnb, with 4 boxes connected. One of the boxes works ok for a while, then it looses the signal. I've tried another box in the same spot and it's the same problem. Is it possible for just 1 port on the lnb to develop a fault or would the whole 4 go, if it was the lnb at fault?

possibly one as you have moved another box in to try ,other thing to check is loose cable as in not screwed tight on lnb.if changing lnb is it worth considering an octo for twin tuner boxes,if not another quad.
