Just read the processor details and its 2Ghz and handles upto 1MB L2 Cache.

My current spec which I spent £1600 and bought 3 years ago was -
Inel Pentium M 760 Processor (533MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache).
15.4" WSXGA+ TFT LCD
Ati Moibility Radeon X700 with 128mb
100GB HDD (5400rpm)
6 Cell Battery
DVD -Super Multi Double Lyaer
1Gig DDR2 533
802.11a/b/g wireless card
Bluetooth
4 USB Ports
Fire wire Port
Multi Card Reader
Windows XP Pro
Touch Pad
1years Gurnatee

I dont understand how the Dells spec is so much cheaper.

I want an ultimate laptop, that doesnt over heat. Has 2Ghz Processor, 2gig Ram as the dells but also has 4 USB Ports and a great grahphics card?

Should the Dell be the one im looking for or is there better specs for upto £700?
I don't want it weighing too much and the design must be nice and slim.

laptop prices have dropped from 3 years ago. dell are cheap these days but make sure the parts are good. sometimes they will say:
Dual core
2gig ram
256 graphics

which might sound good but if you look closer,

it could be dual core 1.8, 2gig ddr rather than ddr2, 256 nvidia 5200 which really isnt that good if you are after a power machine.

but then again you can get really good specs from dell. your budget is quite high so you will get good spec. if you dont need 3 year warrenty take that off as that can save you around 90 pounds.
