laptop sound problems driving me crazy

HIya

I have a brand new acer 9304

it was on windows vista but that lasted about 24 hours coz of incompatibility issues

i put xp sp2 on it running fantastic now with updates off lol

my problem is i keep getting stuttering sound whenever i play any audio it comes and goes

i have upgraded the bios firmware also downloaded countless drivers for sound doesn't seem to work on any

can any1 help its driving me crazy

If the sound is there then the drivers are there, have you tried updating the codec packs.

K-Lite has almost all of them

This is the best codec pack i've ever found it will also notify you

of compatibility issues on install

Just downlaod and install and that will put all the codecs in for you, you dont need to do anything else after that, media player will automatically pick them up.

i finally sorted it i dnt know what it was but i installed latest wmp11 and divx pro and it it went so i am happy anyways know u now what to try if get the problem
