thats me finally got it mate. Thanks for your help.

on Network ID it was an option for Auto or some number starting with a 4, I selected the option with the number and also uploaded the older firmware dating 25/09/09.

should be able to get hold of an i-connector as mentioned before once n3 comes your way..i have heard these are going for around £100 mark then u can get an rs232 connect to that then its networked for card sharing.....,

thats not what he bought the box for. we can all cross that bridge when it comes.
