Bit of a strange one but can anyone recommend any software, hints or tips as to reduce a picture to put in a keyring but still maintain the details.
I am using Zoner photo studio at the minute but it just isn't happening.
keyring approx 40mm x 40mm.

surely its down to the printer as well
detail will be lossed as the pic get smaller with the printer
not being able to print finer dots, what printer are you using

Canon ip4000r are you familiar? or should i say will this cope with downsizing with detail?

I find it better the other way round.

My colour laser is 2400 dpi (most are 1200 or even 600 true dpi) but my canon inkjet is 9600 true dpi, and pisses all over the laser when it comes to fine detail.

Even epsons are over 5000 dpi.

I also find if you dont print on proper photo paper then you dont get the high quality, as normal paper just doesn't cut it.
