Off there on Sunday for 4 nights, salt mine and castle will be on list to visit, staying at belle epoque residence in old town , won't go to Auschwitz cos family was imprisoned there so to emotional. Any other suggestions

Not sure if you have seen it but I watched a BBC documentary called How the Holocaust began earlier this year. Shocking but worth watching imo....and yet some seriously f*cked up people claim it never happened.
Easy to walk round, goto main square its really nice.a walk along the river is good , also try day or night cruise. The beer looks ok. I think I'd of had a meat dish, rather than a bowl of plant.Lunch in krakow
