I've just had the most bizarre and hilarious conversation ever!

My mobile rung and the caller ID displayed my mates name, I answered and all I could hear was some foreign guy, he sounded middle eastern, I automatically assumed it was my mate who was winding me up and had maybe gotten a work collegue to rip the piss out of me, so I played along with it by responding to him with jibberish, he would then reply to me in fluent...er....I dunno what language it was, but he was fluent in it anyway! The 'conversation' lasted about 3 minutes then he hung up.

I then phoned my mate back and he called me a nutcase, he said he was speaking to me and I was replying in jibberish then i started talking about kebabs etc - which I did, it appears that he could hear me perfectly but I couldn't hear him all I could hear was some foreign fella!

WTF was going on?

My mate swears it was not a windup, he was speakng to me in English but I was hearing something else.

lol
