ipad unlocking help

I have purchase a second hand ipad 3 with cellular,the seller said it was unlock but it's locked to Orange. The thread below as covered most things. My question is if i jailbreak the ipad on 6.1 os will i be able to unlock to any uk network? any help would be good thanks

A jailbreak and a unlock are two different things mate, as far as i am aware there is no unlock via a j/b, your best bet would be to get the original seller to get it unlocked from Orange.

Thanks for the help,returning the ipad to the seller! he nolonger has a orange account
